What pre-packaged medication means for your practice
Arrives ready to hand over
No counting, re-labeling, or repackaging at your office. Every unit is sealed, labeled, and dispense-ready when it lands on your shelf.
Patients start treatment same visit
No separate stop at a pharmacy. Your practitioner can dispense directly, right after the appointment.
A new line of practice revenue
Where state law permits, dispensing at the point of care can become a billable service for your practice.
Traceable to your shelf, not beyond
Serialized labeling and batch records track every unit from our facility to your practice.

Prepackaged Medications FAQs
Does Proficient Rx ship medication directly to my patients?
No. Every order ships to your practice or clinic. Your licensed practitioner or staff dispenses the medication directly to the patient at the point of care — Proficient Rx never ships to a patient’s home.
Does my state allow physician dispensing?
Rules vary by state. See our guide to physician dispensing laws or call us and we’ll help you check your state’s requirements.
How quickly will my order arrive?
Orders are shipped the same day they are packaged and include free shipping.
Can you package controlled substances?
Yes. Our facility is DEA and FDA approved to package Schedule 2, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 controlled substances, in addition to OTCs, vitamins, and nutraceuticals.
What batch sizes do you support?
We run batches as small as 100 units up to 1 million units, so orders scale with your practice’s size and patient volume.
Can prepackaged medication be dispensed for workers’ compensation patients?
Yes. Practices treating workers’ comp patients can dispense the same prepackaged medication at the point of care. Billing and reimbursement for workers’ comp claims run through our separate Workers’ Compensation Dispensing program.
